Observations that have been made on hypocotyls from Arabidopsis and coleoptiles of rice, shown that their respective tissues, when grown in space, become thinner and longer, with cell walls that are softer in comparison with the control batch from Earth.  

Can we observe the same changes for the Azuki seedlings grown in space? 

 

Do plant cells respond to gravity by creating thicker walls?
