Cassini Scientist for a Day is an essay contest designed to give students a taste of life as a scientist.

To enter, you need to compare and research three possible targets (see below) that the Cassini spacecraft can image. Then, choose the one observation that you think will yield the best scientific results and explain your reasons in an essay, no more than 500 words long. The Cassini science planning team has designed three possible observation opportunities. Each has scientific merit.

Ensure that you enter before Friday 15th October 2010 so you don't miss out on your chance to win one of the fabulous prizes, including a Ricoh camera pack!

This competition is open to all high school students in the Auckland region.
