Today we had our first walk on the top of the ridge.

The weather is very hot which means we will have to switch to plan C (already switched to contingency plan B with Annalea's injury yesterday. Plan C means that will try to start the EVAs very early in the morning and will have some other EVAs in the afternoon with lunchtime reserved for siesta time. Otherwise you'll pick us up roasted from the road.

We decided to start the sim tomorrow but will still have to sort out the details on how are we going to 'land on Mars'. We also must prepare our own famous phrase for landing on Mars just like Neil Armstrong when he landed on the Moon. We are thinking hard about that.

We trialled the spacesuits, only 4 of them are charged or charging and working so will have to see what happens overnight.

It's a beautiful evening tonight but we can see clouds coming up at the horizon. I hope to get the chance to open the telescope.

ENDS.
